I love love love little village pubs with rooms above. My in-​laws live right around the corner from the Elmer and we stay here often, including my first Christmas away from my family. The pub is lovely, with a large pool table area, good food, and things to do, like trivia and cards. What was also great was having the choice each night of breakfast in the morning. If I pay for it I feel like I have to get up and eat it, so playing it by ear was great. The rooms are really grand too, I was surprised by the size! Great bathrooms, everything was clean. Highly recommended. It’s just a short walk from the beach too.
