Amusing place. Bar a piano stopping playing when you walk in its a local pub for local people. You can take a trip down memory lane with the mugs hanging from the ceiling. Not sure about the outside décor colour scheme. Is it baby poo or coffee? You decide.

A great interior and a number of ales on tap. Friendly service and very good prices. A really good option for a good drink in pleasant surroundings, either in the main bar or the quieter part to the rear.

I like a pub that says from the out-​set: No TVs, No smoking area, No loud music and No pool tables. They’re probably excluding a large amout of business but at least they know exactly what kind of customer they want in their establishment.
The place has constantly been mentioned in the pub good food guide so you know your going to get a nice meal. They do a great selection of sandwiches if you want a light bite but I’d highly recommend the Sunday lunch. You may have to book as it is very popular but you won’t be disappointed!
