Ah, I love Woodbridge News. When I lived in Moseley, they were my go-to guys for pretty much everything. Well, anything vaguely newsagent related, that is. The staff are really lovely and friendly and soon came to passing the time of day with me whenever I was in there. It’s also cheaper than most of the surrounding shops — although this is kind of reflected in the quality of certainly their groceries anyway — if it was fruit & veg I was after I would have to shop elsewhere. It’s a bit rough around the edges and I wouldn’t say that the magazine/newspaper selection is particularly great — again I often ended u pin another Moseley shpo if I was trying to find a particular paper. But the alcohol is cheap — as are most other things, relatively. And the staff are friendly, so I won’t complain too much.

A very cheap and cheerful newsagent/off licence, Woodbridge News is a little run down, a little bit scruffy but super cheap if you just want a basic booze selection. It has the unenviable task of competing with the excellent Drinksville across the road but it seems to do alright. I’m going to go out on a limb and say it’s probably the cheapest off licence in Moseley judging by the about of local hobos that are always around there, if anyone is going to know the cheapest place for liquor it would be them. Other than a really cheap booze selection they do stock some basic groceries but to be honest there are too many other stores close by that do a better job of that. It’s cheap, really friendly staff, what more can I say?
