Wilkinson

Set in Chelmsley Wood shopping centre in Chestnut, Birmingham, this is quite a large Wilkinson store but in other ways has the same winning mix of quirky stock and everyday essentials at very reasonable prices. I particularly love vtheir range of DIY and gardening ranges — their selection of cheap bulbs is particularly good value — but they also have great stocks of cleaning products, toiletries (including cheap razor blades etc for men), tinned and pakaged foods, chocolate and sweets, etc. The store could be a bit cleaner but that probably reflects the popularity of the shop and the amount of dropped littera nd packaging can probably only be swept up at the end of the day. Staff are reasonably friendly at the checkouts, but i didnt get the feeling that any of them particularly loved working there. All in all though this is a really good option within the shopping centre for everyday items available at really good prices. Recommended.
