There aren’t many independent off licence’s out there any more. When I was younger they were a common sight on local high street’s. I even got my first job in one. Not any more. Tim’s is relatively recently opened I think(at least I only noticed it recently and I’m down that way quite often) and it would be great to see it survive. The range is pretty decent, certainly compared to the more expensive and limited range of say Tesco’s. Price wise it isn’t exactly rock bottom, but again you’re bound to find something drinkable for whatever your budget, as there is just more to choose from in the first place. I tend to know exactly what I’m looking for when I’m buying wine so I don’t have to ask for advice on a good one, but the service is good if you’re just popping in to buy and you can’t say fairer than that.
