The Towers

No doubt an individual will have their favourite and least favourite pubs. The Towers is right up there in being one of my favourite pubs. I have only been there twice but this is one place I will be going to more often.
Great food, great service and a friendly atmosphere. An excellent pub and a pub I would strongly recommend you go to. Staff are friendly and I was surprised with how long I had to wait for my food. I only waited for around 8 – 12 minutes for my food which is not bad actually.
I remember ordering a Sizzling Half Roast Chicken served with chips, fried onions and a half grilled tomato. The chicken was succulent and I thoroughly enjoyed eating it. The Pub do have starters but I decided to just have a main dish.
You can also choose from Pub Favourites, Pies, Combos, Steak and Vegetarian dishes. Plus there is also a kids menu if you do plan on taking your children to The Towers.
This is a place for families and I am definitely coming back here. Regular events take place here and you might want to have a look on the above website given to see what is taking place at Two Towers.

pretty crappy service, i ordered a angus bbq beef burger and my friend ordered the special burger, we waited around 30 – 40 minutes and then our food came, my friends chips were brown and cold and the cheese wasn’t even melted, more like slopped on grated cheese, and after eating through my own burger i realised it was pink-​red in the middle which basically showed that they had left my friends meal on the side to go cold and rushed my meal to try and compensate and make them come out at the same time, i told the barmaid that my burger was practically raw when i got to the middle and she said i should have taken it back but i did not realise until i had gotten to the centre of it, pretty poor service apart from 2 of the guys who work behind the bar who are very friendly and polite.

Have lived in the Great Barr area for many years, but yesterday was the first time I had been to the towers… NEVER AGAIN.
To get to the restaurant you have to walk practically through the smoking area — you have to walk through second hand smoke to get to the restaurant. If this wasn’t bad enough, sitting outside is what I think was an employee, and a few other people, there was a straggly haired chavette who screeched who are they, they have never been in my pub before.
When we got inside — sat at a table — this table was dirty, sticky and had got names scratched into. We didn’t even eat there, we were completely put off
So I would not recommend this place to anyone … unless you personally know the chavette that sits outside and you have been personally vetted by her.
Anyway we ended up going into town had a really nice meal at the Dragons Den — nice pub — nice food

A pub that is certainly nothing to rave about, I certainly wouldn’t go back here anyway.
The manager/​landlady is an absolute moron! She is rude, miserable and in need of a good slap! Service is terrible in this place, and as for waiting at the bar, the manager doesn’t care how long you have been waiting, she serves whoever she chooses, its pathetic. AVOID!
