Great little Indian restaurant Went here with a group-on deal and usually with those deals the places you go to give you a special menu and make you feel like a second class diner. We didn’t get that with this place. We had a large choice on the menu with the deal and for a couple of extra quid could order anything not covered. I had a King Prawn dish and my mate has one of the Chicken dishes, plus we had nan and rice. The prawns were a good size and the both dishes very tasty. Not much chilli at all too, which i liked. The décor is modern, rich in purples and brown, and the room is fairly small. Be good for a groups of 5 – 6 max in the booths. Definitely would go again.

Royal Bengal is another top notch, centrally located curry house in Birmingham. It’s in close proximity to Broadstreet, New Street train station and even has the Radisson Hotel pretty much directly opposite. So on a night out in Birmingham city centre there’s no excuse not to check it out. In fact one of the only problems could be spotting it, as it is located above a fast food restaurant, however don’t allow that to deter you as the experience and the meal are not to be missed. They do all the curry classics and as well as that have the beer on tap so there’s no need to lug around a carrier bag full of cans if you’re after a beer or two to wash down your food. As well as that they offer discounts for party bookings which include more than five people, which is great news if you are out with a bunch of mates. Overall another great example of Birmingham’s brilliant curry scene.
