Teamworks Karting Birmingham

Had such a good day here, only realised after I’d paid online that by checking in you get £5 off the price so we used that to pay for an extra 15minutes which was worth it. The staff were friendly and helped us out with any questions and we had a good time. Helps when you beat your boyfriend on his birthday too! Haha.

Go karting, yay! This has to be my favourite day out because it’s so much fun. I’m an adrenaline junking and I find activities like this so entertaining. So, I was even more excited when I found out there was a go karting place only 10 minutes away from the city centre.
I was even more excited to find out it was based in Digbeth because that’s where I’m based. Thank God for Digbeth… this part of town seems to have all the exciting places to visit and experience.
I guess from my enthusiasm you can tell that I had a fantastic time at Teamworks. Me and the group of friends I went with have never been that competitive with each other but we were that day. I’ve been go karting before so knew more or less what to expect. Of course the venue is different but the safety talk you get at the start is similar to most go karting establishments.

So it was someone’s bright idea at work to arrange a team day out go karting! I was extremely excited as I had never done it before but I didn’t really know what to expect.
When we first arrived, we all met in the car park before walking up to the entrance. We were greeted by a couple of guys who took us through to a room where we watched a safety video and were told what they day ahead involves.
Next, we put on our suits which were all in ones so they went over our clothes. I’d recommend wearing something light and comfortable as it gets really hot in there especially with the helmet on.
The go kart itself went so fast! I felt nervous with adrenaline and thought I was doing really well. That was until, at the end I found out I had been lapped by the others several times!
Definitely a fun day out.

I have spoken to many people who have gone go-​karting at Teamworks and they said they had a very good time. Height restrictions do apply so there may well be some disappointed youngsters who may not get the opportunity to drive a go-​kart.
But honestly it really is worth going to Teamworks Karting and believe me you will have a fantastic time. It will definitely be something you remember for many years to come.
