I needed to go the 1.5 miles between my hotel and another bit of the NEC, unfortunately there were no pavements so taxi was the only option.
This company had an arrangement with my hotel, three times we phoned and waited more than 30 minutes for a car, once it was *only* 20 minutes.
Frustratingly, several times while waiting, a car from the same company would pull up, ask my room number, say I wasn’t their client, sit there for 10 minutes, and drive away. I asked if they could phone dispatch and have me added to them, but either the drivers or dispatch weren’t interested. Not helpful, and I wouldn’t recommend.
