This is a brilliant shoe shop which I have recently discovered in Northfield, it’s where Bacons Shoes used to be which is probably why I’ve never noticed them before as I always loathed Bacons with a passion. Priceless Shoes is a large shop and they sell loads of different styles of shoes for men, women and children. The shoes are displayed in pairs so you can choose your shoes, try them on and pay for them without having to ask for assistance at all. At the moment the emphasis seems to be on boots and they have some trendy styles which are very reasonably priced in my opinion. On Saturday I bought a pair of calf length brown leather boots for just £22, they are of excellent quality with a solid heel and fit perfectly. The girls shoes are excellent too, I have recently bought my daughters’ a pair of school shoes each and we found exactly the right colour and style in here without having to traipse up and down the High Street. I have noticed that everything I want is in stock as Priceless Shoes tend to have high stock levels of all styles and sizes, the mens shoes is sometimes disappointing as they do tend to look a bit cheaply made but this isn’t really the kind of shop I’d go to look at shoes for my fella anyway. When you are paying make sure you have a good look on the counter as this is where they will place reduced items and sometimes you can pick up a good bargain. Last week they had some black umbrellas reduced from £4 to 99p each, I bought us all one and they are sturdy and reliable brollies — just right for this horrible weather we’re having.
