I’ve stayed in this hotel during a weekend out because it was easier to stay in a hotel than travel all the way back to Walsall. I’d say it’s a spacious hotel, with OK facilities and designed for those travellers and tourists who are looking for a pleasant hotel to stay in. It’s really well located; once again you are in the middle of all the local amenities and in the centre where all the bars, restaurants and nightlife are based. Therefore you can imagine its a little noise staying at the hotel because of its location. As you are not too far from all the shops, bars and clubs you can easily go from place to place on Broad Street and then happily get back to the hotel. The rooms are set out in a pleasant manner. The rooms are fully equipped; Wi-Fi’s not free though which is always a shame. However, apart from that it was a good night’s sleep and I don’t have any complaints about it.

Fairly standard, rather over-priced hotel accommodation. Spacious bedroom — but rather badly designed! Very comfortable double bed, but its location in the room gave a gap of only about a foot between it and the wall… not very convenient when trying to reach the phone which was, of course, on that side of the bed. The bathroom and loo were two separate rooms, but the later was so tiny it was hard to get in and close the door! To enjoy the bath itself one probably needed to be no more than a size 12 and no more than 5 feet tall… However, the room was well equipped for the business traveller and the staff were both helpful and obliging. The breakfast(which you pay extra for) was excellent.
