New ID Studios

Absolutely appalling company. My friend and I had out pictures done at the end of November 2011 and we never received them. I had to email NewID at least 40 times chasing them up about the pictures they just did not care that we had not received what we were entitled to (and were probably annoyed that we were savvy enough to refuse to buy their grossly over-​priced additional pictures). I finally received our photos in December 2012 ONE YEAR AND ONE MONTH LATER — after I threatened legal action.
I find it very curious that NewID have such good reviews on Qykpe when I looked at reviews of NewID a few months back they had quite a low star rating and there were lots of nightmare stories online how odd that these have all disappeared. It makes me wonder how reliable these review websites are and how easy it is for companies to get negative reviews removed. The loyalty of these sites lies with companies as that is where they received their advertising revenue. No doubt this review will be removed soon too!

I went to New ID Studios for a makeover and photo shoot with my cousin and it was an experience we both treasured. What could be better than getting pampered with hair styling, makeover, unlimited drinks and a glamourous photo shoot!
We were there for around four hours, by the end of which we were starving so it would be worthwhile for them to offer light snacks for a more complete experience. The makeover included one free A5 photo but when you’re sat in the consultation room to look through all of the photos, you’re pushed to buy more. They are quite pricey, with each photo at around £50.
But a word of advice — you’re not obliged to buy any more! Instead, just wait a year because they’ll call you twelve months later to ask if would like to buy the rest of your photos at a discounted rate. What would have cost me over £500 only cost £60 when I bartered with them over the telephone!
