Nandos

This is a very busy Nandos in the heart of the bullring shopping centre it is also a very large restaurant with a limited number of staff. This can lead to long wait times for a table and then 30 minutes from ordering until food is on the table. The quality is of a good standard and it is Nandos so good value for money. There are other Nandos such as the one in the Mailbox that don’t get as bust so may offer a quicker service. Also point out to staff when tables are vacant as they don’t always see them due to the size of the restaurant.

This was one of the highlights of my UK trip. My friends wanted to have dinner here, so we came. My oh my, it was good that I had Nandos three days in a row, including in London after that. I always got the wings. Very flavorful, tender, juicy, oh I loved it. I didn’t care much about the sauces. I think it’s kind of hard to cook the wings wrong, but maybe for the full roast chicken, it could have the potential to be inconsistent. Anyway, I wish we have this where I live.

Butterfly chicken with rice was awesome. Got the humus for appetizer. Was excellent also. Had some Brahma. Food was a bit slow coming to our table. Manager bought us a round of beers. I’ll be back.

As a student nearby, our group meeting members always hang out there, affordable price with big portion of food. Satisfied with it is.

Do I even have to say anything? Just no, simply no!

Nandos is one of the restaurants that I have a love hate relationship. The chicken is good most of the time, sometimes it can be overcooked and dry. But depends on the time if it’s busy or late evening before closing.
I prefer boneless chicken, but the wings are just too good. Always get wings on side. The sauces are one of the reasons to love nandos. I got coleslaw as one of the side and It just looked and tasted like the supermarket ones. Handmade Burger coleslaw is fresh and tasty.
But you go Nandos for chicken, and they are good.

The chicken was good and definitely try the lemon & herb sauce! The others are good too but a bit too spicy for my taste.
The peas are so yummy they make them with mint which is an added freshness and tastiness. The rice was ok but overall the meal was very good. No complaints!

Great place for a quick, not too expensive meal. Food was delicious and served very quickly. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning soon.

Terrible place, I had been before once before and hated it but it was my brother in laws birthday and he really wanted us all to go there as it was his birthday I thought I wouldn’t kick up a fuss and I would go again and give Nandos another chance! From the minute we walked in the door I knew it was going to be another TERRIBLE experience! They wouldnt allow us to book despite it being a special event so they made us wait hours for a table and then when we actually got a seat we were squeezed in next to strangers and seperated from each other, then when the food actually comes its cold. All the sauces were at the end of our table so we had half of the restaurant walking up to our table to add sauce to their chicken which was so annoying its unreal! Having strangers stood over you as you eat your food is not enjoyable for anyone! The chicken is nothing special at all, it doesnt come close to the chicken my mother and grandmothers cook I just dont get the big deal about Nandos I’ve been twice and both times it was a terrible experience! Horrible place, wont go their ever again! I don’t care whos birthday it is, what the occasion is NEVER AGAIN!

I unashamedly love Nandos.
Let’s start with the basics — they’re always in great locations, fairly decent staff and are generally clean and great for both children and adults.
I think it’s good value for money and there’s something on the menu for all tastes from a simple salad to extra hot chicken with all the trimmings.
Another plus is that everything is cooked to order so you know it’s going to be hot and not lingering under a heater for hours on end.
The Bullring store is one of the premium locations so you’re never short of crowds to admire as you tuck into your meal.
Nando’s has been a huge success, they’re styling is spot on and their food is reliably good.

Like every Nandos worldwide, this particular restaurant is self-​servicing in terms that you order at the counter and serve yourself your bottomless drinks, sauces and cutlery. Besides this aspect of Nandos, the services from the staff members are very welcoming and polite which is a great feature for any restaurant franchise. Since this franchise is within Birmingham’s busy Bullring, the standard wait for a table is around 10 to 20 minutes depending on how many people is part of your party. The Bullring’s Nandos is very spacious and the atmosphere is extremely chilled and relaxing, especially if you have had a stressful and busy day of shopping. However, this Nandos is exceptionally satisfactory and suitable for those who are just looking for a place to dine with friends or either yourself during lunch breaks. The prices for a Nandos meal, I find is superb as my usual quarter lemon and lime chicken is always delectable. If you were looking for a non-​prestigious and laid back restaurant that serves Portuguese food I would highly recommend Nandos.

For lovers of chicken, it doesn’t get any better than Nandos.
This particular Nandos offers a great location, on the first floor of the Bullring. As a result, it is always fairly busy, offering a great atmosphere, whilst never being overran or ridiculously crowded.
In terms of value for money, I’m sure that I’m, not alone in describing Nandos as one of the best informal restaurants around Birmingham and even the U.K. I have visited various Nandos establishments throughout the country, but I can honestly say that my whole dining experience is heightened when at this one in the Bullring.
Another plus point about Nandos, besides the great priced meals, are the drinks. Refillable soft drinks always go down a treat, particularly if you’ve gone for one of the spicier options on the menu. An even further positive is the Nandos loyalty card, rewarding you with every visit, which can eventually result in a full chicken, free!
This specific Nandos in the Bullring always seems benefit from the great atmosphere inside. Situated in the heart of the Bullring, two minutes from Moor Street train station, this Nando’s offers the standard self-​service procedure that makes it what it is. The minimal interaction with staff leads to a more personal dining experience, one that I definitely recommend.

Love the food as it is tasty and reasonably priced. They do several vegetarian options (not just chicken!!) and the veggie burger is vegan if ordered without mayo.
Service is usually good as food arrives quickly but there is often a waiting time of up to 45 minutes in the evenings for a table.

Ich bin ein großer Nandos Fan. Alle Nandos Restraurants sind ähnlich ausgestattet, mit viel Holz usw. Es gibt keine Kellner bei Nandos. Man bekommt die Speisekarte gereicht, und sucht sich aus was man möchte. Danach geht man an die Theke und bestellt sein Essen und zahlt auch gleich. Die Gläser für die Getränke bekommt man auch dort. Das Trinken holt man auch selbst, was aber wirklich kein Problem ist. Man darf sich übrigens soviel Cola, Fanta usw. nachholen wie man trinken kann. Das Essen wird dann zum Tisch gebracht. Es gibt allerlei Hühnchengerichte und man kann auswählen welchen schärfegrad man möchte. Ich bevorzuge Lemon & Herbs (der niedrigste Schärfegrad). Hervorragend ist der Ceasars Salad, der wird von mir jedesmal bestellt. Nandos ist immer einen Besuch wert.

Awful Nandos — rude staff, better tables apparently kept for friends, staff bitching at each other behind the counter.
Luckily this wasn’t the first Nandos i’ve eaten at as the experience was just awful.
Ordering — one girl started serving us, then someone else with complete attitude came over, was completely rude to the original girl, and then proceeded to do a far worse job at taking our orde. r
Food — came out eventually — wrong spices on it.
We complained to the person who appeared to be in charge and he then offered to put us on a ‘better’ table — why if these were free we couldn’t have been put there earlier i don’t know.
Then when getting to the toiletyou had to squeeze between other diners due to the proximity of the toilets.
Luckily there is a Gregs opposite or a Burger King next door — i’d advise you to try either as the will give a far better dining experience than this Nandos. Or if you are really after Nandos– then take a short walk over to the Mailbox — lovely decoration and spot on food.

I love love love Nandos and this branch is no exception. I find the service excellent, I like the fact the drinks are bottomless as I always use medium peri peri sauce which is far too hot for me so I am constantly running up and down getting more drinks. The food is delicious and freshly cooked with whatever level of spice you choose, I have on occasion actually had a double breast pitta and had different flavours on each piece of chicken. They have a good choice of side dishes and special side dishes which are more expensive or can count as 2 regular sides. I generally stick to the spicy rice as it is a good sized portion and it tastes delicious! This Nandos has ample seating and I have never had to wait for a table. They also do nandinos meals for kids under 10 which includes the meal and bottomless frozen yogurt or a lollipop for £4

Nandos is set in the bottom of the Bull Ring in Birmingham’s city centre. It is part of a chain selling all things chicken ! The menu is quite varied in that you can order all sorts of chicken dishes such as — chicken in pitta bread, chicken burgers, a whole chicken, half a chicken, chicken salads etc etc, as long as you like chicken your fine ! they do also sell veggie alternatives such as bean burgers but i have never tried anything from the vegetarian menu.
The Chicken in the pitta bread in a medium hot sauce is particually good !
There is a terrace for outside dining, it overlooks the bullring and the outdoor markets (which sounds horrid but its great for people watching). It can get very busy but staff are quick to seat you, food is served almost like Mac Donalds, it is fast food but very tasty and cheap !
