Medusa

After a night out in the Mailbox, a large group of us decided to go to Medusa for one of the guys birthdays.
Being girls, we decided to go purely for the fact we had never been in a strip club and wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
Upon entering, we were charged £10 each just to enter. This didn’t include a drink or a cheeky flash of a nipple.
The lapdancers started off by staring at us, clearly feeling threatened by our ability to swing our lips around a straw rather than a pole.
What was most uncomfortable was the amount of old men in there. Sitting, staring as the girls paraded themselves around.
Fair play to the girls as these guys were clearly easy targets who enjoy spending a lot of money.
Only a couple of the girls were stunning, the rest not so.

I’m not a fan of strip clubs, so I have no idea why I ended up in here last Friday after a good night out at the Island Bar. It was a mate of a mate’s stag do and I got dragged along with a large group of my intoxicated male peers.
Upon entering the club I noticed the sweaty and stifling atmosphere. Semi naked girls were walking around the club, propositioning men for a dance. We were told that a group of girls would come over and chat to us if we bought 3 bottles of Champagne. One of the lads bought all three of them, he was fairly drunk. I only wanted a pint to relax; I was pretty much ready to leave. Entrance was a tenner and I was reluctant to pay any more. I didn’t want a dance as I am in a relationship and I didn’t want to upset my partner.
A group of girls sat on the table next to us as the credit card order for the Champagne was going through. When the credit card cleared the management told them they could sit with us and they moved over all friendly. I tried to imagine their reaction if the card had been rejected, the contrast was obvious to me.
One of the girls in there kept asking me if I wanted a dance. I told her I couldn’t because of my girlfriend and she told me to forget about her. It was at this point I decided to leave.
This kind of place is good if you are after the sight of a naked lady. Otherwise it all seems a little boring and contrived.

Girls are a bit chavvy and a little unkempt for somewhere that’s supposably an erotic experience but on the plus side it’s free to get in met of the time and the drinks are reasonably priced.
