Harveen’s Collection

A great handy store selling practical Asian jewellery, at reasonable prices, this is also a family favourite.
Located on the ever busy Soho Road, this store is like Aladdin’s Cave. They have an amazing selection of the most spectacular and well designed costume jewellery that you can buy. On any family or shopping trip into Soho Rd, I always get dragged in here.
The staff are lovely and also speak several Asian languages. They do have quite a large selection, and if you’ve not visited the store before, you may be a little overwhelmed on your first trip, just because they have so much on display it’s difficult to know where to begin.
Wonderful gems, great colours, my only dissatisfaction was that they don’t sell any gift vouchers, which is a shame. Overall though, a nice store, and I’d recommend a visit to anyone.

Another jewellery shop and another shop with loads of variety. There are some dresses here but Harveen’s tends to specialise in jewellery. Loads of necklaces and bangles.
I did notice there was a mix of gold and silver jewellery which I guess can only be a good thing. The shop is based right alongside another shop that sells jewellery so you can imagine the competition between them and the rest of the jewellery stores on Soho Road.
We are in difficult times when it comes to the economy and if I am being honest, I did not see many people in Harveen’s. I did see one or two people walk away having not brought anything.
The staff are great don’t get me wrong but for a shop like Harveen’s they need to be attracting more people. Again parking will be tough and it might well be a case where you have to pay for parking or you end up parking in the side streets. You might be better off getting public transport.
