Having been a local resident for a good few years now, I’ve sampled a reasonable selection of Chinese take aways, and judging by the reviews so have many others. What I have noticed is that the usual suspects are covered, whether they are good or not so good.
If there’s a business that hides itself away a little (which you would think might be an obvious disadvantage) it tends to be really rather good if it’s been around for a while.
H.C.F. fits the bill here. It’s tucked back from the main road and doesn’t exactly look stunning or attractive from the outside. However, the food is pretty good in a competitive market. Has a decent selection of dishes, speedy delivery and reasonable prices.
