Frying Pan

Ask any Brummie and they will tell you that they live near the Best Chippy in Birmingham. I’ve heard all the tales, but I’m here to tell you that this is, genuinely, the best chip shop in Brum.
Why should you believe me? First of all because I live nowhere near Dudley Road but I’ve been known to drive there *just* to go to The Frying Pan. That’s a 6 mile round trip… for chips.
Why else? Well, if you go at around the 7pm mark, or when there is a big game about to start on TV, the queue is literally out of the door… and there are plenty of other fast food places within easy walking distance. Why would people risk missing the kick off, or making their family wait? Because The Frying Pan is the best, that’s why.
Why do I love The Frying Pan? The food is fresh, the ingredients are good, the service is quick and friendly and it’s pretty good value for money. It’s pretty easy to make a lousy job of fish and chips, but it takes something special to make it this good.

decent place, very clean, but chips didnt have the greatest taste, and the fish was very greasy.
much prefer great british eatery, just up the road as they sell fresh fish (not frozen) and do chips in beef dripping! yum!

this is the best chip shop in the west midlands the is the best and the staff allways nice and theres a family friendly feel
