Driving past D’Jan’s you get a sense of designer-boutique from the minimalist style of décor and outfits they have. Unfortunately, when I went, I was greeted with the stereotypical coldness of a high-end boutique where I felt as if I was being looked down on. I was told to book an appointment for a personal shopping experience, which seemed absurd when I was the only customer there. However I was allowed to browse the clothes, which could not be touched. This defeats the object of browsing because you’re meant to get an idea of what you could potentially invest in! I found the service to be unwelcoming. The prices were steep and seemed unjustified for what you are getting. There is not a large range to choose from, although the shop front is well-maintained. Parking on this road is a nightmare, and it’s amazing that cars can park either side and traffic flows both ways when it is so narrow!
