Dixy Chicken

I went into town last week and decided to get something to eat with my sis n law. Firstly service was slow… when we eventually got the food it was mediocre… whilst eating we noticed the woman who was supposed to be clearing the tables just standing about til customers had to ask her to clear the table so they could use it. maybe she was having a off day!!! Hmmmm
Then OMG a guy walks in with a pit bull… and straight to the counter. he started ordering his food. Not once did we hear any member of staff ask him to take the dog outside for obvious Health and Hygiene reasons… If that wasn’t enough to shock the dog goes and puts his paws on the counter standing up, once again nobody said anything… the manager was there but he did sod all (recognized him from his different top).
If the guy had been blind or partially sighted and came with a guide dog I wouldn’t have a issue… But a pit bull (I love dogs don’t get me wrong) it looked scary and some customers were frightened. NO WAY would I recommend this branch where they have no respect for Health and Hygiene. please avoid this branch.

Yes I know it’s not the healthiest food, but if like me you’re in a rush and need a junk food fix, this is the place to go. The service is quick and the prices are extremely reasonable. Plus for all the Muslims out there, the food is Halal, bonus!

There are a few Dixy Chicken takeaway shops across Birmingham; so I’ve been in a few of them over the years. With Dixy you kind of know what to expect, as it says it in the name. It’s all about the Chicken!
Therefore, most of the meals on their menu all consist of… chicken! What they’ve tried to do is provide a KFC and Nando’s all in one. The reason I say this is because on the menu they have Peri-​Peri flavoured chicken, which is prominent at Nandos and then they also do the crispy coated chicken similar to KFC.
Dale End’s Dixy is one of the biggest Dixy Chicken stores I’ve come across and I think that’s because it’s in the middle of town. There are big red sofa seats, set in the ‘American Diner’ style booths with the table in the middle. The interiors go with the exterior as the sign has a lot of red; so they have tried to maintain this throughout the inside interiors.
My only little criticism, in a positive way; is that the restaurant can sometimes be a little un-​tidy and the floor full of bits of food from previous customers. I know they do try their best to unsure it’s clean but it needs to be cleaned throughout the whole day. This has put my off and I’ve started going in there less and less because of my last experience.
