Amala Spa

Working in the city, you can often find yourself in need of manicure but you don’t know where to go. If you’re ever in this position, like I was, you should give this place a try.
I broke a nail right down to the skin and I didn’t have a file on me. I went in here on the off chance they might be able to help. Although they were fully booked, the receptionist checked with the manager and said that if I didn’t mind coming back in 10 minutes she would fit me in which I thought was great service especially since I hadn’t been there before.
Everything about the quality of the service was excellent and I will definitely go here again.

I’m a huge fan of Hyatt Regency anyway but last week, I had the pleasure of visiting this luxurious (over used word but very much apt) spa. I’m not a gym goer but I had a glance through the doors and it is, as you would expect from a 5 star establishment, looks pretty well equipped.
Amala Spa is in the basement of this glorious building at the top of Broad Street that forms part of Birmingham’s burgeoning skyline. The building is over 30 years old but doesn’t look a day over 18! The spa itself is a haven of quietness. The treatment room I saw was set up for 2 people, the nail technician was busy with a client in her room and there is a lovely lounge where someone had just enjoyed some Thursday afternoon champagne. I know it’s a great spot for a hen party and quite frankly being here beats anywhere else on Broad Street for such an occasion! I cannot wait to go back and spend a chill out day.
