Every village should have it’s own bookshop and Oxton is lucky to have it’s own independent one in the Post Office building. Spread over two floors, it’s a cosy space with wooden bookshelves and tables. The stock is small but there’s a varied selection of new and secondhand books including fiction, biography, food and drink, travel and graphic novels. There’s also a growing collection of local interest and history books about the Wirral, Birkenhead and Merseyside alongside prints and greeting cards by local artists.
