One of the few cafes that recognises disability and discretely offers appropriate help. This seems to be the difference between a chain and an independent. Excellent food — a doggy bad always forthcoming if the generous portion sizes prove too much, or I have asked for a smaller portion and the priCe was effectively reduced as I was given an extra free coffee. Despite this café always doing a brisk trade, there is no pressure to eat up quickly and get out. This café also makes superb celebration cakes — I ordered a large lemon drizzle cake for a 60th birthday party, and it had a genuine wow factor in looks and taste.

Laid-back. Cool. Has an almost seaside café atmosphere with its worn wood flooring, eclectic lighting, plain white walls and shutters, and busy contemporary art«tetris“ed around the walls. And extensive menu of café staples which all appear to be hand made. Service is quick regardless if them being busy almost all the time. Food is hot, fresh and tasty. Breakfasts are superb and huge. Dinner is just as good. Very, very nice.
