We have eaten here twice, and on both occasions we have thoroughly enjoyed the food and have had good service. I recommend the Salcombe crab which was very tasty. If you can get a table on the terrace it is lovely to watch the sun setting on the water. It does seem to be busy all the time in August so probably better to make a reservation. If you love seafood you can tuck in to a fruit de mer which looked superb. If you visit by car park in the Shadycombe car park, otherwise a level walk form the Salcombe waterfront car park.

These guys also have a place in Bigbury, which is much, much better. Ate here last year — large group of friends get together — kids, adults etc. Food OK but not a patch on the restaurant at Bigbury, smaller portions & quality not as good. Service very poor — & not very accommodating with kids. Expensive for what it was & generally a disappointing experience.
