KFC

In case you don’t know Bexleyheath well, it’s basically a pedestrianised strip of shops, with a nice plant (used to be fountain) feature in the middle of it and a shopping centre bang in the middle.
In fact, that’s the key word to describe Bexleyheath… the middle. EVERYTHING is central. The furthest you’ll ever have to walk for anything is about 5 minutes in any direction. Even the council offices and the library are a hop skip and a jump away.
Everything… except KFC.
KFC is located way down the other end of the high street. Even past the ASDA, Pizza Express and the old Blockbusters, which was already pushing it as far as location goes. Because of this, it never seems to be that busy. I mean… I like chicken as much as the next person but why would I walk halfway out of the town when I could turn around and visit the Burger King, McDonald’s, Tom Bells or any other fast food chain around me.
It’s also REALLY small. Pretty much just a counter with like six tables. My living room is bigger and that’s saying something because I live in a two up two down terraced house.
The food is good of course, but then you expect it to be, being KFC. It’s chicken. With a spicy finger-​lickin’ coating.
It’s really expensive for what you get though. £4 for a box of popcorn chicken? You’ve got to be KIDDING me. I could buy a box of 50 popcorn chicken pieces from ASDA, which again is a LOT closer, and be actually full.
And £10 for a bucket that is supposed to feed four but actually has like two bits of chicken each? Pffft.
It also has weird opening hours for where it is. For instance, it shuts at midnight on New Year’s Eve when it’s perfectly located for the four pub/​nightclubs in Bexleyheath. If you’re the first fast food restaurant people come to at the end of a night out, why wouldn’t you see what you could do about staying open?! Why don’t you open later and close later if it’s an hour restriction, c’mon!
The long and short of it is, yeah, sure, if I’m craving chicken, I will trek down. But I’ll do it grudgingly and often, I just forget it’s even there and go to ASDA for an actual chicken.

If you want finger licking chicken with chips, you cannot go wrong with a KFC, service is quick, staff are polite, chickens taste fresh and tasty. Its GOOD value for money.
The seating area is a good size, its well lit and in a good location.
I always park up car and do a takeaway, takes 5 minutes!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
