I always used to be a Starbucks girl until Christmas came around and Costa went ALLOUT. Black Forest Hot Chocolate, be still my beating heart. And the spiced apple drink, oh my! Christmas in a cup! Even down to the range of cranberry muffins, the Santa, reindeer, snowman and elf cups and the matching uniforms staff wear, Costa has the season down to a fine art. This particular branch did all of the above excellently and thanks to its central location, went the extra mile too. Surrounded by Christmas decorations and backed by the Santa’s Grotto in Bexleyheath, the staff always have a nice word to say and don’t seem to want to blow their brains out with the amount of Christmas overload they must feel and really, you have to admire that in a coffee shop. The location is as Central as you can get. It’s bang in the middle of the shopping centre, you can see it from pretty much every entrance and it benefits from this footfall because it’s always absolutely packed. Yet despite this, I’ve always managed to get a seat, the queue always moves fast and as far as my experience goes, staff have never forgotten an order, no matter how complicated I’ve made it and how many things I’ve added on last minute. They have a system, they’re all good at their jobs and they work like a well-oiled machine. Bravo. Now that Christmas is over, I said to myself I’d go back to the Starbucks, but to be honest? Costa has won my heart. You’ve got yourself a new loyal customer. P. S.LOVE the cups. Did I mention that?!

I like the Costa chain. Their coffee is the best and this branch is not an exception. The menu is full with interesting hot and cold drinks and the staff is fast and seem to enjoy their job. I just had to compliment you on the great café.

I love Costa coffee. Costa Coffee is inside Bexleyheath, Broadway Mall, the seating is comfortable, the atmosphere is relaxed, you can chill out whilst the wife goes shopping, the Coffee is perfect, food & snacks are available. The service is quick and polite. HIGHLYRECOMMENDED.

Love Costa, try to go there quite often as live locally. The coffee is very good, now they have that delicious Flat White with a very rich flavour and it looks very pretty as well. Service… obviously could be better. They have a guy there who just doesn’t have any idea how to speak to women, really puts you off when you hear his«jokes». I think he’s algerian or smth. Another one keeps screaming all the time trying to be funny, i just don’t get it really. Wish they had more nice people there.

I love this place a bit too much. I am always in a quandry as to whether to go here to starbucks. The food is nice and coffee is always good but sometimes the service can be a bit odd. They have one particular woman there who barks at you — I dont think she means to its just her way. I am fine with it but it could put a few people off. This time of year they have started to do gift boxes of thier syrups — 5 for £5.95 so you can make your fav at home.

Set in the dead centre of the Mall in Bexeyheath town centre, and there before Starbucks, Costa offers a good variety of coffee, tea and cakes. This can be a good place to rest your foot in the middle of a shopping trip and watch everyone go by. The coffees are generally good, service is efficient and my favourite treat are the wafer cookies!
