This department store sells almost everything at bargain prices. The huge range of goods includes toys, stationery, toiletries, housewares, DIY, confectionary, soft furnsihings, wool, haberdashery, crafts and clothes for all ages. The range of ggods includes major brand name products and ex chain store bargains. They have recently started selling fishing tackle at low prices too. They have many items which are difficult to find elsewhere, particularly in the haberdashery and fabric sections. The window displays are excellent and the service in the store is second to none as the staff are really friendly and helpful. This is one of my favourite stores to visit, as you are always guaranteed to find something useful and at a great price! Highly recommended!

Another old-​fashioned shop in Beverley, this is a smallish department store which sells a wide range of items. It sells toys, stationery, gardening items, tools, electrical items, cooking utensils, clothes, shoes, haberdashery, soft furnishings etc etc.
The layout is a bit haphazard and I have found that negotiating the aisles with a pushchair can be very problematic. The checkouts can also be a bit of a scrum at times.
