Alright, I can’t stand M&S. Those unguently smug adverts have washed away any lingering positive feelings I might ever have had about this great British institution.
But anyway, for information: This is mainly a food store. In the front section is a small selection of women’s clothes, undies and those other odd things that women seem to need. There is also a cafeteria which always seems to be populated by miserable looking patrons. Perhaps they are depressed at the prices in the food section. Dunno.
The only genuinely positive thing I have to say about this shop is that there are toilets on the right hand side in the food section. If you can’t be bothered to walk around the corner to Lord Roberts Road toilets (and don’t want your bum felt whilst there) then these toilets are particularly welcome. Handy if you have kids.
