Went to this eatery earlier for my mother and father in laws anniversary, it is a small traditional yet modern looking Greek restaurant in the centre of berkhamstead. Serving a couple of years in Cyprus in my army days I was looking forward to the meal and I was not disappointed. We arrived and were showed to our table which had balloons and a card from the restaurant (a nice little touch I thought)
Food: the menu has good scope with meze included (which I had… As did the rest of the party) but it does not stop there, plenty of other authentic Greek dishes to keep the palette busy with. The portions are fantastic and tasty, don’t think I’m going to eat for another three days.
Staff: the staff are friendly and polite and do the job well, no waiting about with these guys and girls fingers on the pulse throughout even when the place started to busy up.
Price: good value for a night out weighing in at £302 for a party of eight plus drinks so happy with that.
Summary: a small well run tidy restaurant definitely worth the visit, a real Jewel in berko’s crown

Does not look much from the street, but I’ve found it consistently fantastic — original menu and superb service. Little outdoor area at the back on hot days. Child friendly –i recommend you try it!

It was really wonderful to have my birthday party at the Olive Tree Restaurant. All the mezes were really delicious because they were freshly prepared. The staff were very frinedly and kind. The prices were credit crunch bursting. I think it is a nice place to celebrate birthday parties. Don‘t forget to make reservation.

good food good service and specially the waiter are very nice and they don’t have a good restaurant but also a nice deli counter and nice café to, don’t know where are couple of waiter gone, they were nice waiters which make you laugh and give you a good service and treat you like there own guest. if i had a restaurant i would hired them… any way nice place and nice food and yeh the cheif is very good person too which keep you healthy
