We Make Cafe

We Make Café is really handy to my work, so handy in fact that it sometimes makes me wish that I liked coffee. I find We Make’s food a little overpriced so I would much rather spend 5 minutes extra in my lunch break walking in to town to get a cheaper better quality sandwich.
I can see the lure of this place if you’re a coffee fan. Plenty of my colleagues go here for a pick me up but it’s just not for me!

We Make Café is ideally is part of The Waterfront Hall although most of its trade seems so come by big businesses it is surrounded by. After getting off the train at Central Station and heading in to the city it is a perfect place to grab a coffee to walk through town with. Although it really confused me last week as in the morning I got a quick cappuccino before a meeting from We Make Café and then on my way home I intended to get another coffee to get me through the train journey but when I got to the Café to my disappointment it was all closed up.
I looked at my watch and it was only 4:30pm! I couldn’t believe that they closed at 4pm completely missing the afternoon rush!
The coffee and service was great in the morning and I was looking forward to my afternoon buzz but alas it was not to be. That shouldn’t take anything away from this wee café that does what it says on the tin.
