Valley Barbers

The sign in the window says ‘for Dads and Lads’ and this place does exactly what it says on the tin, sorry in the window. It’s a clean friendly functional barber shop which will deliver a neat friendly functional haircut!
My sons and husband have had dozens of haircuts there and all the girls who work there are laid back and chatty and do a great job with the clippers and scissors. Lollipops afterwards every time too which always goes down well, with the kids anyway. It works well for me because there are three chairs in a row and often my little angels are taken at the same time to have their locks looked after which means we’re in and out nice and quickly which cuts down on the stress factor for me and the boredom factor for them.
Prices are good too — £5.50 for a kids cut which works for me when I’m on one of my economy drives. Just one caution — don’t go at school getting out time unless you want to spend half an hour waiting surrounded by noisy boys calling each other names and telling fart jokes!
