I’ve been here a couple of times for lunch and dinner and seriously can’t fault the place. If you want a good steak come here. Also the crab and chilli linguine starter is devine and also big enough for a light lunch too. Staff are friendly and helpful with the menu, great knowledge of wines to accompany the food. Every time we have dined there has also been a manager on duty who has come over and checked on us which I think is a great touch. Highly recommend to friends and family who are visiting Belfast.

Wow! What a wonderful restaurant. My boyfriend and I are only here for a few days, but our tour guide recommended this place, and we’re very happy we didn’t miss it. Their Roast Tomato Soup was to die for! I had the Warm Artichoke Salad, and was so pleased. Also, a big +1 for having adequate veggie options. They don’t skimp on service, either. It’s definitely pricey, but it’s worth the money.

We loved our dinner here. The farmhouse terrine was the best one I’ve ever had. The other appetizers were good, but nothing special. The steaks we ordered(sirloin and ribeye) were some of the best steaks we have ever tasted. Great cuts, charcoal grilled, and cooked perfectly to order. The sides were also extremely tasty. The peppercorn sauce was a little weak, but the red wine sauce was excellent. Though honestly, none of the steaks needed any sauce at all. Surprisingly, the meatloaf was absolutely fantastic. We will definitely be back.

I came here on the strength of the reviews, but was pretty disappointed by the food. We came between lunch and dinner, so there was no wait. I had the seafood chowder(too salty) and the truffle fries(too soggy). The boy had the sirloin, which he said was«good», and it was a proper medium rare. The atmosphere was very nice, so I’d come back for the bar part, not the grill.

In a nut shell this grill bar has the exquisite food of its sister restaurant but you don’t have to cry as you part with your hard earned cash. The choices here are not just your typical burger or steak, but oh so much more. The smoked salmon languine is a popular hit and the specials always include a fresh seafood or fish dish, cooked to perfection. The grill has a very relaxed atmosphere, with no sign of the hustle and bustle of the busy city centre just around the corner. A great spot if you are looking to impress with your dining choices, whilst not breaking the bank!

I can see why people like this place. It’s very lively and quite popular. Be sure to make a reservation. We didn’t have reservations but were kindly seated at the bar(which is our usual preference any way). The whole time we were there we had the attention of 3 people offering suggestions and good information. Not only about the menu but about good local beers to try, etc. We started with a Belfast Blonde — a very nice beer from Hilden Brewery — a family run microbrewery located in Hilden outside the City of Lisburn, Co. Antrim. We started out with a small order of the pappardella duck ragu. The pasta was fresh and the ragu had lots of deep, rich flavor and was outstanding! A fresh salad mix of local lettuce and herbs shows off their obvious attention to using fresh, high quality ingredients. We shared the rib eye steak, mashed potatoes(champ) and traded the chips that come with the steak for an order of mushrooms. There is a reason steak is popular here. It was cooked perfectly and very flavorful and the bone marrow gravy that went with it topped it off nicely. But for me the potatoes and mushrooms really stood out! They were both so good! The mushrooms were huge and the mashed potatoes were fluffy, buttery goodness. I wish I could say we had room for dessert, but unfortunately we didn’t This was a wonderful experience. If you’re in Belfast don’t miss lunch or dinner here!

This is my go-to steak place – best steaks in Belfast in my opinion! I take business and personal visitors there and everyone is always favorably impressed. Good service, lovely starters(seafood chowder delicious), succulent ribeye and filet mignon and wonderful side dishes like champ, huge mushrooms, and truffle fries. Yummy desserts too if you can make it that far. Partial to the French Martinis, but they have other nice cocktails and a good wine list. Not a huge place and fills up fast, so call ahead. Also gets a bit noisy/lively(but I like that) so if looking for something more intimate and quiet, its sister restaurant next door looks likely(believe much of same menu although I haven’t been to it.)

We Arrived in Belfast bus stop from Dubin this afternoon so we were famished. We ventured off the main roads in town and found this little gem off the beaten bath. We had wonderful service and everything on the menu looked delicious! We opted out on starters and went straight for the large portion of smoked salmon risotto and Parmesan crusted chicken. I also insisted we have the truffle fries as well which was just as delicious! I hope more people visit this beautiful restaurant!

Excellent restaurant. Service and food was excellent. Accommodating to a vegan eater in the group and have small portions of risotto and pasta. I I live here I would come back!
