Every good girl (and boy) deserves treats, and that is what you’ll get in here. While it feels a little clinical in design, the selection of gorgeous fancy lotions and potions in here is enough for even the most frugal shopper to get their purse out.
Also, while the staff sometimes look intimidatingly glamorous, I’ve always found them really helpful and friendly, and it is the perfect place to go when you want a treat or Boots is stressing you out. It’s girly– Saturday heaven!

Everyone’s heard of Space NK, right? Well, by far the most interesting thing about it is that the founder and face of the company, Nicky Kinnard, is a Northern Irish girl! How cool is that? She opened up her first store in Covent Garden years ago and now has shops all over the world.
I’m always a fan when something global turns out to be homegrown…
Plus, I love this shop. From the outside, it looks like it would be the type of shop in which you’d be judged by what you’re wearing, but it couldn’t be farther from that.
Yes, the products are all pretty high end, but the girls who work there are always on hand to give you some advice, wrap your purchase beautifully for you and send you on your merry way again!

Space NK just about always looks empty every time I go past.
Inside it’s a bit like a smart French pharmacy, very cool, sleek and quiet with highly organised rows of all these amazing potions of obscure and unusual makes that look very medical and clinical.
It can all be eye wateringly expensive, you could get offload about £100 in here quite easily on a few little things.
I once did spend a fortune in this shop on skin products which I regret to say were not effective, in fact they may have made matters worse though the free tester stuff handed out on the day was good. That may have been only a one off, of course, I suppose I will never know, but it doesn’t tempt me to a return visit. I’d feel on safer ground shedding £££ on the well known brands, should I ever be rich enough.

A fab place for cosmetics and toiletries, with some really nice brands not available elsewhere and a great own-range.
Can be quite expensive, but their are bargains to be had, especially around Christmas. A recommended fail-safe place to shop when you really don’t know what to buy a lady — I don’t think any woman could fail to be pleased by a gift from here.
