This shop is a bit better than just a local newsagents, because it has a bit more on offer than normal. If you need newspapers, magazines, bread, milk and so forth, it’s all there, but it also works like a mini-supermarket, with quite a wide range of groceries available. There is an off-licence attached within the store, which is handy for locals if they need several items but don’t have the time to make it to Tesco or Asda. It is a little overpriced though, because it’s a convenience store, but I suppose that’s to be expected when they are offering these extra products on the doorstep. There is an ATM machine inside too, but it charges you a fee of course. Not a bad place if you’re stuck and can’t go anywhere else.
