I attend a wine appreciation class here once a week and have found this venue to be extremely good. We are provided with wine glasses and water to cleanse the palate and the room is always set up when we arrive. We are not rushed out at the end of our class and they have provided us with extra facilities when requested(at a cost) great place for any conferencing events

I’ve never stayed in Ramada Encore, however I have experienced their conferencing facilities as I attend a weekly Wine Appreciation Class there. I’m maybe swayed by the fact that Frank McGreevey’s class is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious(it’s a definite 5 star +++++ kind of class!). However I’m doing this review purely based on the hotels facilities. We have a well laid out conference room each week fully equipped with wine glasses, iced water, notepads, pens, comfortable chairs, good sized tables and a screen and overhead projector so Frank can lecture us about the finer details of wine appreciation. Ramada Encore staff are always professional and welcoming, helping Frank set the projector up or getting more wine glasses or water if required. The conference room we use is bright, spacious and warm. I can’t fault it in anyway. A perfect, centrally located hotel for business meetings, conferences or classes.

Wife and i stopped in for the night from Dublin. The staff was all nice the room was clean and nice except I am not sure if it was an issue or if they were all like this but all lights aside from the bathroom. Didn’t work. We weren’t in the room much more than to sleep but it would be a problem if we were there for longer. Comfortable bed. Only reason im giving them 3 stars is for the lights witch may have just been an issue they could fix just didn’t need to bother.

Had a stay here last night! Friendly staff and comfortable room, it’s situated right in the centre of the Cathedral Qtr so handy for the rejuvenated bar scene in this part of Belfast. DEFINITELY recommend this Hotel.

We have just come back from Belfast, we stayed at the Ramada Encore, without a doubt we had a great time, staff were really nice and friendly, price was reasonable and food was really good my only problem was that when trying to get room service it was difficult as we tried to ring on Saturday night and could not get an answer so got no food on that evening other than that it was great, would still recommend to friends and family

This hotel is very nice for the price. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated with a modern style. The same goes for the lobby and lounge/bar area. The staff was friendly. It’s walking distance to a number of pubs and restaurants. I’m very happy I stayed here on my visit.

This hotel is OK. Just standard really, nothing special or particularly remarkable. The room had wooden flooring, which made it seem lovely and clean but also made it cold. As I mention in every hotel review, I like hotels to have a wall panel to control the heating/air conditioning, or a seperate heater, and this had neither. It was fine in the evening(in July), but I was cold in the morning — cold feet on a wooden floor. The bathroom looks sleek, it looks nicely done, but it’s a pretty cheap fix really. It’s a wet room, with shower only, no bath, and I like a bath to have a soak in to heat me up when I’m in a cold hotel room. And the spray comes out onto the main floor bit, which is just annoying. Also, when you wash your face, the water goes all over the surrounding surfaces — just a design flaw really. Also annoying. I didn’t have an evening meal here as I arrived late, so can’t comment. Breakfast was pretty basic. For vegan, wheat free me, just porridge made with water. I discarded the rubber melon, and they didn’t even have any bananas. Bah. Lovely employees though, they were nice. I’d stay here again for business if I had to, but not for pleasure.

Clean lines and simple décor. Wooden floors in rooms. Bathroom design is very compact and functional — an excellent use of small space. We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were friendly, the beds were firm but ok. No parking at hotel which meant we had to park on the street. There are signs on the street warning drivers that it was a high theft /crime area and to park at your own risk. Also, driving there was very difficult due to all the one way streets. We were circling the hotel, couldn’t quite get into it because we had to go several blocks to find a street that actually pointed in the right direction. Hotel doesn’t have any nice views at all. They did have a really nice restaurant downstairs however, so we didn’t have to walk anywhere to get a good meal. I probably wouldn’t stay there again, due to the difficulty of it’s location nestled in the one way streets.

This hotel is situated in the Cathedral Quarter which makes it ideal for staying in Belfast. It’s a five minute walk to the city centre and is surrounded by a host of restaurants and bars, shops and clubs. The hotel boasts 169 rooms with sky TV and free wifi and obviously they are all en suite. I popped in for a sandwich which was really well made and delicious. The bar menu is reasonably priced for a hotel and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food came quickly and was really well presented. Its great for popping in for a wee snack even if you’re not a resident and the atmosphere is generally one of a calm and relaxing ambiance. The rooms prices vary between £50 and £70 and are spacious and comfortable. A really great venue for a trip to Belfast!
