Long established local garage. They have offers for money off their car wash when you buy fuel (usually £20 worth), and they have more bits and bobs for cars than most other garages/service stations (window wipers, polish, oil, etc). They also carry out a range of repairs and MOT servicing.
The convenience store is a bit more expensive for most items (as you’d expect), but it’s a good garage for the troubled motorist as it carries out some repair work, whereas most other service stations don’t (maybe that’s why you’d class some as service stations, and this as a garage).
