So from my review on JD Sports, you’ll know by now I’m not one of those sporty types. This means I’m not one of those ‘outdoorsy’ ones either. In fact I would do anything not to have to leave my snug cosy house. So when I planned a summer of festivals I had to get into my ‘outdoor’ zone otherwise all that good music would go to waste. Therefore I popped down to the outdoor store at the Boucher Road retail park to purchase my very first tent. What can I say? I didn’t realise half their stock even existed, not being a hardcore backpacker or experienced camper, why would I? The shop contains everything from clothing to footwear, tents to lighting and navigation. A world of wonder and awe on my first visit. The tents were very impressive with some containing four rooms and a porch! However, I only needed a simple, two man tent which was easily to get up and even easier to get down once all the partying had been done. The stock can get a little expensive and the technical jargon had my head swimming but if you pick the brains of a helpful assistant you will get all you need at a decent price.

Not as cheap and cheerful as Sports Direct, but a decent sports shop with all the latest lines. Some of the t-shirts in here are truly woeful, but they do have a wide range of trainers and gym clothes. It’s a far smaller shop than Sports Direct, but is better spaced out than Sports Direct which has tried to utilise as much space as possible for retail items.
