Ink Monkey Art Supplies

Ink Monkey Art Supplies are a super cool store, they describe themselves as «purveyors of mass creation» and they certainly are. Located on North Street, convenient for both city centre shoppers and Belfast Art College people, Ink Monkey carry a broad selection of art and craft items.
Paint, pastels, fixative spray, pens, modelling materials, paper, spray paint, tattoo products, fabric paints, inks, sketch books, paint brushes, markers, stationary and pencils. You name it, they’ve got it.
Ink Monkey is nothing like a traditional art store, instead it has a trendy youthful vibe with spray painted walls, a relaxed layout and a vibrant feel. There are also frequent art exhibitions by a rich diversity of Artists, my favourite to date being Bristol graffiti king Inkie’s show for Culture Night 2015.
This store is a must for art and craft fans as well as professional Artists. Plus they offer some great sales, deals and discounts including a 10% student reduction on purchases.

I can’t walk past an art store, and this dinky place on North Street is no exception. In fact, I wasn’t even looking for anything when I went past, but on seeing it I went in anyway.
Not the biggest unit they still manage to cram in loads of the usual big brands like Daler-​Rowney and Winsor & Newton among loads of others, and probably because of their location near the Art College they also stock loads of model making stuff.
The service was really friendly and a trip in here will awaken the creative in anyone, regardless of skill!
