If you are from Northern Ireland, or the UK and have not heard of Iceland you are an idiot. Get off the computer and go outside. So this review is primarily for people who may be visiting this fine city and are interested in doing a bit of cooking but not using the freshest ingredients. Iceland(the country) is notoriously quite cold and has a lot of frozen things. So enter Iceland(the shop) which specialises in being quite cold and having a lot of frozen things. Unfortunately, Iceland(again the shop) had a notorious celebrity advertising all of their great frozen delights called Kerry Katona. Now gather around children. Ms Katona was famous for not being very good at anything at all but still managing to be famous. People decided they did not like Ms Katona because she was a «chav». That’s our new word of the day. A «chav» is someone who we would like to avoid or perhaps watch them fall off a bridge onto some concrete. And it was because of Ms Katona appearing in Iceland advertisements that Iceland foods got a bit of a bad reputation by being used by «chavs». Now I use Iceland, quite regularly, and I am aware that some people who insist on wearing pyjamas outside of their house do also use this. However, I do not own pyjamas and nor am I a chav. And Iceland foods is quite good. Some of their stuff is a bit rubbish and I can voucher for that(cheesy potatoes aren’t too impressive), but the majority of it is really really good. And the fact that they can be put in the oven and come out looking and tasting really well. It is a great shop that is cheap and very tasty. Go for a visit.
