Gordons Chemists

Walking through Belfast the other day I was drawn in to Gordons chemist by a deal they had in their window, they had a great offer on mens aftershave. To be honest before I saw the sign in the window I had no idea Gordons sold perfume and aftershave. I thought they were a traditional chemsit focussing on pharmaceuticals. The store was clean and obviously fragrant as you’d expect a chemsit to be.
I have one gripe about my experience of Gordons, I went in specifically fro the aftershave deal they had displayed in the window. I walked straight in the door and approached the counter that was manned by two members of staff, I then sprayed the aftershave on to some test paper and began to smell it. At this point I was waiting for one of the members of staff to ask me ‘could they help with anything’ but they didn’t! So I hung around for another few minutes until the point it actually became awkward and then I left. I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that they were busy but they could have said they’d be with me in a minute and that would have solved the situation.
This put me off going back in to Gordons despite their offer but this could have been a one off so I am going to give the otherwise great chemist 3 stars.
