I was totally unaware of this company until I started looking around for someone to design and create the scenery for my drama group. They operate out of a large old Victorian building in the old York Road Mill complex. It’s great to see these beautiful old charming buildings being re-​used and appreciated and conserved rather than tossed to make way for ugly industrial estates. If you need anything made for an exhibition, show, performance or event — RMC Design can do it. When I called in for my meeting, I saw someone carving and painting artificial trees (full size!), I saw a life size Oscar trophy being created, among many other projects and products. Richard, the owner is great at taking your ideas and making them into reality — and that’s what he did for our scenery. I gave him our details and measurements and voila — a few weeks later they appeared — delivered by the company. Now, you should expect to pay a high-​end price for their service, because they have an excellent team of carpenters, designers and painters working there, and it is high quality items they are creating — I know our scenery will be a great investment to last for some time.
