Another one of the Clements Coffee shops and in my opinion the worst. I say worst but it’s not that bad, just in comparison to all the others. This one is small and snug, it almost feels like you’re in a tunnel or underpass drinking you hot bev. I popoed in here in Monday morning to meet some pals who were visiting Belfast. Being very central it’s a great meeting spot. My experience wasn’t great — there were 3 of us but we struggled to get a seat big enough where we could all sit comfortably. Secondly when I ordered a coffee(kept it basic and went for an Americanno) it took ages and then when I eventually got the coffee there was no milk at the self service station. To be fair the 2 member of staff were rushed off their feet but still not great. The whole vibe of this branch is very rushed — maybe because it’s a city centre shop! But it’s not somewhere I’d rush back to, especially as there’s so much alternate choice in the immediate area.

Nice casual coffee house with a few treats like scones and muffins or for the sweet tooth, giant caramel crunch or rockie roads! Comfy seats and the staff are ok. Reward/loyalty service for repeat customers. Regular cappuccino is £2.50

I get a coffee from here probably 3 times a week(I’m trying to reduce my caffeine intake!) There’s nearly always a queue because it’s quite possibly the best coffee in the city centre imo. I’m by no means a coffee snob or connoisseur I just love a good cup of coffee. No fancy beans from the amazon or wherever specially ground in front of you by bearded hipsters and that’s just what you get. The guys who work here are fantastic. The queue moves quickly and you’re always served with a smile. There’s usually some decent music playing and they have a good selection of scones and tray bakes on offer too. If you haven’t already tried it you really should. It beats the others hands down. Trust me I’ve tried them all at one time or another

I’m not sure I’m best qualified to review a coffee shop; I I don’t drink coffee, or tea. I go to Clements simply for the hot chocolate! The chocolate is really chocolately and creamy, unlike Starbucks which is a bit bland for my liking. Clements also do paninis and tray bakes, which aren’t bad but probably wouldn’t come there specifically for food. The lay out is weird, a few soft seats and stools. Really this place is geared towards take out such is its location. They do a wide range of all those fancy coffees that people seem to love and they have an honesty box if you want a simple coffee or tea to go.

It’s Clements, what can I say, best coffee in town for me(see my other Clements reviews). This one is the shop I visit most as its the closest to my office at lunch times. The ambience is a little less appealing than the others and it can feel a little more rushed, so it’s not as relaxing as the one in Stranmillis or Botanic. In fairness this may be due to my personal usage. Like I say I’m in here lunchtime on weekdays, in the others, weekends or evenings. It still has the(small) selection of great food, and like I’ve mentioned before my favourite coffee in Belfast.

If live in Belfast and have never heard of Clements there must be something wrong. This is yet another in the long chain of stores. This is a nice little hideaway right in the city. Its perfect for organizing a rendezvous or waiting for someone as it is right next to the stops. Clements is also a good place to go to find out what is happening as many leaflets and flyers will be left for the public to take away with them. I wouldn’t go to this café to read a book or to have a relaxing time. I use it and see it merely as a go between and I think it fulfills that purpose well but don’t count on experiencing anything extraordinary coffee from the menu… same old same old!!!

Yet another branch of the Clement’s chain, and it’s much the same as the rest. I suppose it’s not the cosiest though. It actually feels a bit cold when you go in, thanks to the metal floor. It’s also very long and narrow, so it doesn’t hit you right away as being very inviting. As far as service and quality go though, I can’t fault the place. The menu is exactly the same as in all the other branches, so you know what you’re getting food-wise, and once more, the customer service is top-notch. I tend not to sit in at this Clements very much. It’s small, so if fills up easily, and I tend to find myself going to Apartment next door more, but if you need a quick respite from the madness of Belfast City Centre on a Saturday afternoon, look no further.
