Fab that this place is open 8 am to 11 pm. Hard to find a coffee shop that stays open late. They always have fab portion sizes of food and drinks. Their traybakes are huge. Could share between at least 2. Must try them sometime. They have a great drinks menu to choose from. Nice hot chocolates that you can order in numerous flavours. The guy that served us last in there was so good at his job. The place is good for groups as its a decent size.

I like this Clements. Been to pretty much all of them and this one(although too out of my way to be a regular) is probably my favourite. Simply because on top of the top notch coffee and the friendly staff that seem to be a hallmark of Clements, this one(I’m guessing because it’s the newest) has an interior that is just that bit more finished and fresh than the others. Its decorated as the others are in a pretty stylised and branded way, but there’s just that bit more room and a little more quality to it, can’t quite put my finger on why, but it’s there.

This unit, smack bang in the middle of buzzing Ballyhackamore has had a troubled business past so I was thrilled that Clements was going into it, to bring a splash of colour and light to the road. I wasn’t disappointed. Clements love colour. They seem to be doing pretty well too, if the amount of people in on a dull Monday morning is anything to go by. I popped in for a coffee and a catchup with a friend, and we had a very pleasant time all round. When the chat is good you could be anywhere, but Clements is pretty nice. OK, so they haven’t done anything ground-breaking with the décor or the menu, both of which stick religiously to the brand, but I suppose if it ain’t broke… The staff were friendly, the coffee hot, and the caramel squares are worth a visit alone. They are massive, and if you are struggling with finishing one I’ll help. Yum!
