With so many restaurants/takeaways in Belfast, brights is something on an institution, so was a bit disappointed by the quality of the food. I had chicken goujons and chips. The goujons were soggy, gravy was tasteless. Chips weren’t bad though!

I really used to like this Antrim Road branch of Brights, but was recently very disappointed in it. The hubby announced he was going to get a sausage supper and asked if anyone else in the family wanted it(we were in my Mums’) and so before long he had an order as long as his arm for various things people wanted to eat. I ordered the pastie supper with curry sauce. Really disappointed in it — I mean it’s not hard to cook chips, but the chips I was served were definitely old, they must have been sitting out a while because they were leathery and hard and chewy. I thought it was just mine, but it turned out most of us felt the same, and my husbands sausages weren’t the best either. The curry sauce was flavourless and WAY too spicy — nothing like the sauce I’ve got in the past from them. They need to pick their feet up a bit.
