I have booked myself for a stress relieve massage at the salon early evening time. I called the salon around lunchtime that unfortunately, due to work commitments and last-minute changes I will not be able to make it for 4.30pm and asked to move the appointment by 30min. That was not possible, so I have tried to ask my partner to attend instead of me. He was also tied up with meetings at work, therefore I CALLED AGAIN and explained the situation. The girl who answered suggested that it is okay to move the appointment to Saturday morning and use the deposit toward the next appointment. However, after 4pm I had another call from the salon, advising me to either attend at 4.30pm or I will lose my deposit of £21 (overall treatment was £30). Perhaps if I knew this information ahead, I could arrange myself differently. I am extremely disappointed at luck of understanding on their behalf, especially that I agreed to move the appointment and I thought it was all sorted. The girl who called me back, just bluntly said, this is the policy. I can book again for Saturday, but I will pay again the full amount. Well, I can say with a certainty that I may have lost some money, but they have certainly lost one or more customer as I am extremely annoyed how this matter was handled. I have paid for more stress rather than getting a stress-free massage.
