Heard good things about the Ashoka in Bearsden so we decided to try it. We were not disappointed! Lamb Jalandhri, chicken karahi bhoona and chicken desi jalfrezi were all delicious. Naan bread was great and veg pakora lovely too. We’ll certainly be back again soon!

Came for a meal with family: excellent food, ambience, venue and attentive staff; busy although mid week, which was encouraging– will certainly return.

Bit of a regular here. So review time. For the benefit of my fellow Unilocalers.(Is that a word) anywho. The place itself is tucked down probably the busiest side street in Bearsden and next to dominos to further exacerbate the feeling of congestion while trying just to park. That aside. the place is I suppose. standard Indian fair. décor wise and seating all unremarkable. However. were is scores Is two fold hence the four stars. Firstly’ special mention to the staff as a whole. Friendly ! And’ genuine. Also glad to have your business. Rare These days. And the food’ Mmmm I can say honestly I have never had what I would term in in some places an «off» night. You’ll find consistency here. And that matters. Give it a try

Garlic nan, f yeah! Spicy, tasty Indian served in a relaxed environment. For bonus points, it’s just a few doors down from the local graveyard.
