Old Bengal Restaurant

A lovely little family-​run Indian restaurant located slightly off the road on Wycombe End, down the hill from the roundabout in Beaconsfield Old Town. The food is delicious with a wide range of traditional Indian dishes and the staff are attentive and friendly. I’m a korma girl and was pleased to note a range of creamy mild dishes on the menu, and the two I have tried did not disappoint. The prawn puri is especially nice. The premises are quite new, either purpose built or converted, and going upstairs to the toilets feels a little like trespassing in someone’s house!
Overall, well worth a visit. If you go more than once, the staff may even remember you and strike up conversation, becoming firm lifelong friends!
