Amazing breakfast and great service. Very reasonably priced if a little cramped.

Loved the Earl Grey tea and homemade scones with jam. Highly recommend if you are sightseeing and looking for a place to have an English breakfast.

Stopped in for breakfast/brunch on a Saturday. The menu is not extensive, but the food was nice. I had an omelette with ham and cheese and my boyfriend had the scrambled eggs on toast. Service was friendly and quick. Not a bad place to stop off for a meal.

Don’t be confused. There’s no live Jazz at this café. Matter of fact… there’s no jazz music at all. Their website says they used to do it, but as of about April of this last year they called it quits. Doesn’t matter though. This tiny little joint in the heart of Bath has outdoor seating and does a pretty darn good English breakfast. It comes with 2 bacon rashers, 2 free-range eggs, 2 sausages, mushrooms, beans &2 rounds of toast. At under 10 pounds it’s a pretty decent spread for the quid. It’s counter service which seemed to be the norm in Bath, but the servers that come around are pretty helpful refilling water or whatever else you need. Overall it’s a proper breakfast just don’t go for the tunes.

My of my favorite places for breakfast in Bath. Nicely placed on Kingsmead Square it great for people watching. The full English breakfast are great with plenty of toast and good thick bacon and quality sausages. The coffee is lovely and the range of papers great. It does get busy and its difficult sometime with a buggy at the weekends but if the weather is good you can sit outside and this solves the problem Good sound track although the Jazz they play is more mainstream and not from the free jazz movement :)

Bath is slowly becoming my home away from home and we’ve had the pleasure of eating at a fair few places in and around the city. I am pleased to report that the Jazz Café is definitely one of the places that, should you have a sexy weekend away there, you should make a special effort to visit. After a rather debourcherous Friday night we headed there in need of something that would iron out the slightly fuzzy heads we were all suffering with. The only thing we were interested in was a breakfast to end all breakfasts. 4 full English? Yes please. It was excellent. Apart from maybe being greedy and needing more bacon and sausage on the plate, everything about it was sweet as. Highly recommended. The atmosphere was vibrant but without being loud and overbearing and the staff were particularly good. Even though they were busy, they still made sure we had everything we needed. Water was consumed in vast quantities. Apparently everything, and i mean everything, is home made. Whilst i didn’t have a chance to try it, the home made peach ice cream caught everybody’s eyeballs. A breakfast and a coffee will set you back around 10 nuggets. Well worth it though and not only that, but you can reward yourself with, assize pat on the back for not going to the god awful Boston Tea Party which is a mere 20 meters away. Bath… You have redeemed yourself and for that i am grateful. Good work Jazz Café.

I love the Jazz Café — it’s a nice place to while away a morning or afternoon. The must is the Jazz Café breakfast(or the more manageable traditional English breakfast) — I must say, 9 times out of 10, I will have the cooked breakfast. The special part of the cooked breakfast is the really chunky, buttery toast! On this occasion, I actually had the Jazz café special omelette, which was pretty good. It’s quite large, so go when you’re hungry! It comes with a salad too, which was also nice. Great atmosphere and good food, worth visiting if you’re out and about town(or even for Sunday morning breakfast — they even have a nice supply of papers to tempt you to stay longer!)

The Jazz Café is a friendly, independent café in the centre of Bath and is the perfect stop off point for lunch if you’ve been out shopping in the city. There’s a warm, homely vibe to the place, which is further cemented by the extremely tasty home cooked cuisine. The menu consists of a range of omelettes, paninis, all-day breakfasts and specials — I recommend the goat’s cheese and tomato tart — it’s delicious! The portion sizes are more than generous and despite the quality of the food, the prices are very reasonable — around £5-£6 a dish, so grabbling a bite here won’t break the bank.
