Duo is a shoe lover’s dream and I couldn’t agree with Valerie F more — fantastic for women no matter what shape and size your tooties come in. The type of shoes they have on sale at Duo are quite sensible compared to the more trendy styles of Office and Schuh but it’s a fantastic place to buy classic designs. The prices are on the expensive side(up to £70 for a ballet pump!) but unlike New Look or Primark — these ain’t going to fall apart after just one wear! The service here is excellent, and the girls are so accommodating so don’t be shy to test their customer services skills to the max!

I can’t believe that I am the first to review this place! and I’m a Yank! haha Okay why I am reviewing this is that I’m Yank with bloody massive calves on flipping tiny tootsies. Basically that means that I can only get boots that are bleeding custom. Oh well, at least your boots give me an excuse to mangle Madonna’s ‘Dress You Up’ whilst going around San Francisco, California — replacing the lyric ‘suit’ with ‘boots.‘ Thanks Again Duo Boots & Shoes of Bath. BTW — any fellow Yanks reading this review they do AWESOME across the pond shipping.

After hunting high and low for a shop that sells boots to fit my(not overly large) calfs I came across Duo whilst shopping in Bath. They measured my calfs and I tried on several styles and walked out of the shop with two pairs. These boots are being worn to death but as they are so well made they still look pristine. I have a pair from the Malmo range(£110) and they are so comfy I can walk in them for miles. They look great with casual and work clothes too and have had many compliments. If they don’t have your calf size in stock they do arrive pretty quickly when ordered. I’m off to buy another pair soon. well I am female! The boots are reasonably priced especially if you cost the wear to price ratio. They also have shoes in store too and you can order online too. They’ll supply you with a paper tape measure but make sure you measure your calfs properly if you do order online.
