The great coffee plus the papers plus the view from upstairs makes this one of the better coffee houses in Bath.

Excellent Caffe Nero, as usual, and as already well described below, quite a big one this with plenty of comfortable seating, in a central location.
Very attractive inside, though it is a bit dark inside and the only window seats are looking out into one of the alley-ways (still nice).
Odd that they don’t use the front main window facing the high street — maybe too many fights for pole position??.
Clean toilets, friendly staff, quick service, excellent strong smooth coffee.
Recommended.

There are two Caffe Nero’s in Bath, one at the top of town near the Spa Mineral Hospital and this one just opposite the Guildhall Market. This is my favourite to be honest although both are very good, here you have the counter downstairs with the menu board and a fridge with cold drinks, you queue along the counter so you aren’t sat in the shop with people queuing around you which is nice. Upstairs is another counter, and lots of seating including big comfortable chairs and sofas where you can while away the hours with friends or a book. I especially like their chocolate milkshakes here, very tasty. Also thye do double shots of coffee so make sure you ask if you want a weaker cup!
