I have eaten in hundreds of Indian restaurants, and I am yet to find one better than the Redfort. The food is fresh and piping hot — if possible, opt for one of their tandoori rushes which they’ll serve to you on a «sizzler»! It’s a wide, varied menu with an excellent takeaway service and the staff are polite and professional. This is an absolutely excellent restaurant and I cannot recommend it enough.

This is my absolute favorite Indian restaurant hands down from top to bottom in the entire freakin world. Love it. The sauces are just the right consistency, the spice is always dead on what it should be for each dish. The meat is always moist and never dry like many places. Staff is friendly and when we do a big takeout when I visit the family in Overton, we always have a grand old time sitting around stuffing our faces.

Absolutely fantastic food, lovely service, reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere and everybody and anybody goes there from couples to families. it gets very busy on Fridays and Saturdays so worth booking. The queue for takeaway is often long and busy so get there early. Best in the area by far!

A restaurant that has consistantly produced great food with a wonderful atmosphere. The service was crowned when the guys from redfort catered for our wedding. They fed all at our reception with a feast that was unique and fresh. Everyone loved it. Thanks guys

Fantastic Indian — worth travelling to if you live anywhere in the Basingstoke area. Very popular wth the locals, the staff are all extremely friendly and you’re always given a genuinely warm welcome, especially by the boss who looks like an Indian Danny De Vito. The food is fantastically tasty, the rice always perfectly cooked, and there’s draft Cobra to wash it down with. A hidden gem.

Divine! A really friendly tandoori house, with fabulous food. 10% discount for take out. For around £18 two people can have a feast! the naan bread is the best i’ve had and even silly things like the rice are cooked in such a way that you appreciate the flavour. It is really popular with locals so if you want a guarantee of a table it is worth phoning up to book. perfect for a first date, anniversary or a birthday night out with your mates!
